Daren Gum earned his law degree from North Carolina Central University in 2017 and holds an undergraduate degree in Marketing from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. Daren provides results-driven solutions.  His early career in customer service and background in marketing has trained him to be attentive to his client’s needs and what’s in the best interest of his clients. Daren mainly practices family law, and his expertise extends into the areas of custody, child support, divorce, estate planning, and criminal defense. 

Daren provides accessible, effective, and efficient legal services to busy people and families. Daren embraces digital strategies for consulting with clients to save them time. This means he integrates communication technologies such as digital in-takes, emails, and text messages into his practice. He understands that people have busy lives and believes people should have access to legal services especially on important matters concerning families and the law.   

Daren understands the importance of family. He is a father. He has been married to his wife since 2011, nearing a decade. And, he is a best friend to Chive, a white rescue boxer. Daren finds a lot of satisfaction spending time with his family, especially with his large extended family of step-parents, in-laws, and close friends.
